Leadership

 

Riaz Syed: President/CEO

As a business leader and goal driven executive, Riaz Syed has been an IT visionary for more than 16 years in the technology, banking and finance industry. His goal perspective has been a guide in his success as founder and CEO of Zenmonics, Inc.

Prior to serving his role as president of Zenmonics, Mr. Syed was a senior technology/management leader in Fidelity Information Systems. He was responsible for the design and development of Enterprise Applications targeted for deployment in the top 100 financial institutions in the world.

Mr. Syed received his Master's in Computer Science from Florida Tech University and also served as adjunct faculty in the Computer Science Department at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.

 

Beth Abernathy: COO

Beth Abernathy is Chief Operating Officer of Zenmonics, Inc.  As COO, she brings to bear an extraordinary 30 years of experience in successfully running technology companies.

Ms. Abernathy's additional experience includes serving as CEO of ActiveGroup Ventures and COO of WebTone Technologies.  Additionally, she served as the President of VoiceCom, a division of PTEK, the Chief Operating Officer of Intellivoice Inc. and has held a number of senior roles with additional technology companies.

Ms. Abernathy is currently the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of Camp Sunshine and the Development Chair and Board member of Buckhead Christian Ministry in Atlanta, GA.

Ms. Abernathy's leadership qualities include employee development, building a high performance culture, and engaging the workforce. Ms. Abernathy holds BA in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Kentucky.

 

John Kelly: EVP

As Executive Vice President, Mr. Kelly has overall responsibility of the development and execution of Zenmonics, Inc., Sales, Marketing and Business Development activities.

Mr. Kelly brings over 30 years of experience in the Technology and Financial Services Industries. He has held Senior, General Management, Sales and Marketing positions with companies such as; CGI Inc. (SVP &GM) American Management Systems Inc.(Vice President Sales), WebTone Technologies Inc.(SVP Sales & Marketing), Science Applications International Corporation Inc. (SVP & GM Broadway & Seymour Div), Digital Equipment Corporation (Vice President-IT Outsourcing); Citicorp (VP-Citicorp; President- Citishare services, Chairman- Citicorp Fame Software Division); Telstat Inc. (EVP &GM); as well as positions with Chase, Canavest House Ltd. and Standard & Poor's  Corporations.

Mr. Kelly holds a BS in Economics from Rutgers University and a MBA in Finance from Suffolk University.
Mr. Kelly previously served on the University North Carolina Charlotte- IT School Board of Advisors and the Charlotte, University Area- YMCA Board of Advisors.
